TIJANI IBRAHIM
Tijani Ibrahim is a graduate of University of Ilorin, with a B Eng. Electrical Engineering 2nd Class Upper Level Division.
He has 10 years work experience with Coca cola Hellenic Bottling Company, NBC Ltd in various roles in manufacturing across different NBC factories in Nigeria. After graduation in 2009, he started his career with NBC as Management trainee. In this role, he executed various manufacturing projects as a Trainee Project Engr which include Installation and Commissioning of Automatic CIP – Port Harcourt Plant, Installation of First CCH Standard Borehole Delivering 60 cubic meters water per hour – Enugu Plant, Installation of Pre-Water Treatment Plant – Kaduna Plant, etc.
Based on his achievements as a trainee engineer, in September 2010 he was appointed as one of the first Plant Electrical Engr in NBC and posted to Ilorin Plant.
Within 3yrs in this role, he achieved huge successes in boasting the plant processes and human capabilities that transformed Ilorin Plant Performance from the last performing plant in 2010 to 1st Performing Plant in 2013.
Afterwards in September 2013, he was posted again to NBC Owerri Plant as Automation Engineer. As at then, NBC Owerri plant performance was occupying the last position in total Country Manufacturing with respect to NBC Metrics. Again, through Human Capacity Development, Process Improvement, Structured Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis, He also moved Owerri Plant Performance Metrics to the topmost Position before leaving the factory at the end of 2017. Owerri Plant still occupy 1st position in manufacturing KPIs across NBC plants till date.
In January 2018, he was appointed as Process Improvement and Capability Development Manager for NBC Asejire Plant, Ibadan. In this role, he facilitated production startup of two newly installed PET lines. Through various equipment OEM training coordination, he developed the skills of newly employed Technical Operators assigned to the new PET lines and within a year, transforming these operators from trainees to ODP level 3 Technical Operators capable of executing Equipment Turnaround Maintenance on their various machines. Today, these PET lines produce the 2nd largest PET Beverage Products for total Country Sales Demand.
in May 2019, Engr Tijani was transferred to NBC Ikeja Plant as a Maintenance Manager in charge of Can Line, Hot Fill Line, CIP, Water Treatment Plant and Syrup Process Areas.
Asides his B Eng. Degree, he holds Certificates in COREN, HSE, CMRP and Various Automation Certifications. He is SMRP Proctor and Facilitator of Manufacturing Process Reliability Module with Beina LLC, Ikeja Lagos.
